Macon, GA – Man Killed in Single-Vehicle Roll-Over Accident
Macon, Georgia (June 7, 2023) – A 24-year-old man was killed in a single-car accident on Hartley Bridge Road on Wednesday morning.
The driver was in a 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe and was driving north on Hartley Bridge Road around 6:00 a.m., according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.
The driver ran off the road just before Arnold Drive, and the vehicle overturned.
The driver was thrown from the vehicle, which then rolled on top of him.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Nobody else was injured in the accident.
I met with Harry Brown personally and he sat with me for 20 minutes at our initial consultation to explain everything. He even called after my surgery to see how I was doing. I met with him several more times after that and was kept informed about my case throughout. I highly recommend Harry Brown as an attorney.
Single-Vehicle Car Accidents in Georgia
Single-vehicle accidents occur when only one vehicle and one driver are involved. A single-car accident usually occurs when a car collides with another object or is pushed off the road.
Even in the absence of other vehicles, a single-car collision can be extremely dangerous, if not fatal.
In single-vehicle collisions, numerous legal issues arise. Even when only one vehicle is involved in an accident, determining who was at fault can be difficult.
It is possible that someone else’s carelessness contributed to your accident. For example:
-On bad roads, drivers may find it difficult to maintain control of their vehicles, increasing the likelihood of an accident. Seams, potholes, and construction materials left on the ground are examples of defects. If poor road conditions contributed to your accident, the person or group in charge of the issue may be held accountable.
-Even if another driver’s car did not directly collide with yours, they may be held liable for the accident. Any damages or injuries you sustain may be the fault of the other driver if they were careless and caused your car to veer off the road.
-Due to mechanical issues, driving a car can present a number of challenges. When a car’s brakes, steering columns, tires, wipers, or airbags fail, the driver may be killed. When people’s cars fail to function properly, serious injuries can occur.
These are just a few of the many possible outcomes of a single-vehicle accident in which the driver is not at fault.
