After joining SWAHT (Savannah Working Against Human Trafficking) in January 2012, Lead Litigation Attorney, Sherri Watts, became a member of the Speaker’s Bureau which responds to requests from community groups who want more information about how human trafficking and exploitation is impacting our community, and what its members can do to combat it.
SWAHT works closely with law enforcement groups to stay current about the fight to save the victims of this ongoing human rights violation.
On May 18, 2014, at the Pirate’s House restaurant in downtown Savannah, Sherri will be giving a presentation to the Savannah chapter of Phi Beta Kappa, to raise awareness of the conditions, and plight of local human trafficking victims, and encourage participation in its solution. The meeting will commence at 2:30 PM EST.
