Mylee McKinney grew up in the small town of Baxley, Georgia, a community nestled in the heart of slash-pine country located ninety miles west of Savannah. After relocating to Savannah in 2012, Mylee attended Armstrong Atlantic State University, where she graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Law & Society and a minor in Criminal Justice in 2016—all while working full-time during the day as a paralegal for a local law firm and attending college courses at night.
As a law student, Mylee was an award-winning Moot Court and Mock Trial competitor, as well as a published member of the Law Review. Since graduating from Mercer University School of Law in 2019, Mylee has practiced in a variety of fields, including but not limited to, family law, criminal defense, general civil litigation, and insurance defense. She later focused her practice on personal injury as a litigation attorney, where she handled hundreds of cases and recovered millions of dollars on behalf of her clients before going on to open and operate her own law firm.
As an attorney, Mylee’s approach to each case begins with frequent and consistent communication, coupled with the judgment to know when to fight, when to compromise, and not being afraid of either.
