I met with Harry Brown personally and he sat with me for 20 minutes at our initial consultation to explain everything. He even called after my surgery to see how I was doing. I met with him several more times after that and was kept informed about my case throughout. I highly recommend Harry Brown as an attorney.

Single Vehicle Accidents in Georgia

“Single-vehicle accidents” are collisions in which only one vehicle and one driver are involved. The most common causes of single-vehicle accidents are collisions with fixed objects or being pushed off the road.

Even if there was only one other vehicle on the road at the time of the collision, it is still possible for there to be serious injuries or even fatalities.

Single-vehicle collisions present various legal difficulties. Even when there was only one vehicle involved in the accident, it is not always simple to determine who was at fault for the collision.

If there is a chance that the accident was caused by the carelessness of another person, consider the following:

  • Poor road conditions can make it difficult for drivers to maintain control of their vehicles, increasing the risk of a collision. Potholes, seams, and building debris left on the road can all be examples of defects. If you were involved in an accident as a result of poor road conditions, the person or organization responsible for the problem could be held accountable.
  • Even if another driver’s car did not collide with yours, they could still be held responsible for the accident. The negligent driver of the other vehicle may be held liable for any damages incurred if they run your vehicle off the road.
  • Mechanical issues can cause a variety of problems when driving a car. When a car’s brakes, steering columns, tires, wipers, and airbags fail to function properly, the driver may be killed. When your vehicle malfunctions, you may be able to file a claim against the manufacturer.

These are just a few examples of situations in which a single driver may not be to blame for the accident.
