Macon, GA – Two Dead After Car Crash on Hawkinsville Road

Macon, GA (November 9, 2022) – On Wednesday, November 9th, two people were killed in a collision that occurred on Hawkinsville Road close to Smiley’s Flea Market.

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office says the victims of Wednesday’s crash were a 57-year-old man from Jones County and a 20-year-old man from Macon.

Deputies were told by witnesses that the white vehicle, driven by the 57-year-old man, pulled out from Cochran Field Road and attempted to cross over Hawkinsville Road when he was struck by a black vehicle, driven by the 20-year-old man, traveling south on Hawkinsville Road.

According to a statement that was included in a news release issued by the BCSO, “during the collision, both vehicles rolled over and ended up in the median.”

Both of the drivers were pronounced dead on the scene by the coroner. The names of the victims will not be released until their families have been notified.

I met with Harry Brown personally and he sat with me for 20 minutes at our initial consultation to explain everything. He even called after my surgery to see how I was doing. I met with him several more times after that and was kept informed about my case throughout. I highly recommend Harry Brown as an attorney.
