Macon, GA Three Killed in Drunk Driving Accident
Macon, GA (November 24, 2022) – A fatal car crash occurred on southbound Interstate 75 near Bass Road at around 4:00 a.m., according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.
According to reports, a Chevrolet Tahoe collided head-on with a Toyota Camry that was traveling south on Interstate 75 near the Bass Road exit.
The driver of the Toyota Camry was a 27-year-old female from Florida, and the back seat passenger was a 5-year-old child from Atlanta. Both were pronounced dead at the scene by the coroner. The front seat passenger was a 26-year-old male who was identified as the father of the 5-year-old. He was transported to Atrium Health Navicent and is listed in critical condition at this time.
The 27-year-old driver of the Chevrolet Tahoe was transported to Atrium Health Navicent and was later pronounced dead.
The driver of the Tahoe, as reported by Bibb County Coroner, was under the influence of alcohol when the accident occurred.
