Hall County, GA – Driver Killed in Head-On Collision

Hall County, GA (December 5, 2022) – On the morning of Saturday, December 3rd,  there was a fatal head-on collision that occurred on Browns Bridge Road near Cherokee Trail in Hall County.

According to the Georgia State Patrol, at approximately 7:54 in the morning, the driver of a Chevrolet Tahoe failed to maintain its lane while turning eastbound and collided with a Ford F250 that was traveling westbound. Both vehicles were traveling in the same direction.

This caused the Tahoe to rotate in the opposite direction and come to an uncontrollable stop in the westbound lanes of the road. The driver was declared dead.

The collision caused the F250 to travel off the north edge of the roadway and overturn into a ditch.

The Tahoe’s passenger and the F250’s driver were both taken to the hospital.

The names of those who were in the accident have not been released.

I met with Harry Brown personally and he sat with me for 20 minutes at our initial consultation to explain everything. He even called after my surgery to see how I was doing. I met with him several more times after that and was kept informed about my case throughout. I highly recommend Harry Brown as an attorney.

Fatal Car Accidents in Georgia

The news that a loved one has passed away as a result of severe injuries sustained in a car accident is something that no one ever wants to hear.

The turmoil that follows the death of a loved one in a car accident can leave a family emotionally and financially devastated.

A person who sustains injuries as a result of a car accident that was caused by a negligent driver has the legal right to file a personal injury claim for compensation against the at-fault driver. They are eligible to be compensated for any costs incurred as a direct result of the incident.

On the other hand, when accident victims pass away as a result of their injuries, their families have the legal right to file a wrongful death claim against the driver who was responsible for the accident. In this way, the deceased person’s family can secure additional justice for their lost loved one.

A family can file a lawsuit for wrongful death in order to seek financial compensation for the costs of the funeral and the emotional suffering caused by the untimely death of a loved one.

When someone else’s carelessness causes the death of a family member in a car accident, the last thing on your mind is negotiating a settlement with an insurance company or filing a wrongful death lawsuit. But it is very important to remember that you only have a certain amount of time, called the statute of limitations, to file a claim for wrongful death.

When you hire a Wrongful Death Attorney to assist with your claim, they will make sure you receive compensation for the following:

  • Funeral and Burial Expenses
  • Medical Expenses
  • Lost Wages
  • Loss of Future Income
  • Loss of Consortium
  • Emotional Trauma

If someone you care about died in a car accident, you should get legal help from a Wrongful Death Attorney. Without an attorney, it can be challenging to receive the compensation that you are owed.
