I met with Harry Brown personally and he sat with me for 20 minutes at our initial consultation to explain everything. He even called after my surgery to see how I was doing. I met with him several more times after that and was kept informed about my case throughout. I highly recommend Harry Brown as an attorney.

Pedestrian Accidents in Georgia

Pedestrian accidents are extremely dangerous. They are usually more serious than other types of accidents because a car, even at a slow speed, can cause significant damage to an unprotected person. This raises the possibility of pedestrian fatalities. Almost all pedestrian accidents result in injuries, and a sizable number result in wrongful death.

Pedestrian collisions are investigated and handled in the same manner as car accidents. Accident victims and their families have the legal right to seek monetary compensation for any losses sustained as a direct result of the accident in which they were involved.

Despite having the right of way in the majority of cases, pedestrians are sometimes held liable for accidents. Even if they sustain severe injuries as a result of the collision, pedestrians who cross the street illegally, unexpectedly, and without warning may be partially or entirely to blame.

If it is determined that the pedestrian caused the collision, the driver of the car may be entitled to compensation for costs incurred as a result of the accident, such as the cost of having the car repaired.

When a pedestrian is hit by a vehicle, it is usually determined that the vehicle’s driver was at least partially to blame. This is due to motorists’ responsibility to keep an eye out for pedestrians and to make way for them whenever necessary.
