I met with Harry Brown personally and he sat with me for 20 minutes at our initial consultation to explain everything. He even called after my surgery to see how I was doing. I met with him several more times after that and was kept informed about my case throughout. I highly recommend Harry Brown as an attorney.

Pedestrian Accidents in Georgia

Accidents involving pedestrians are extremely dangerous. They are typically more serious than other types of accidents because a car, even when moving slowly, can cause significant damage to an unprotected person. This increases the likelihood of pedestrian fatalities. Almost all pedestrian accidents result in injuries, and a significant number of them result in wrongful death.

Pedestrian collisions are investigated and handled in the same way that motor vehicle collisions are. Accident victims and their families have the legal right to seek financial restitution for any losses incurred as a direct result of the accident in which they were involved.

Despite having the right of way in most cases, pedestrians are occasionally held liable for accidents. Pedestrians who cross the street illegally, unexpectedly, and without warning may be partially or entirely at fault for the collision, even if they sustain severe injuries as a result of the collision.

The driver of the car may be entitled to compensation for costs incurred as a result of the accident, such as the cost of having the car repaired, if it is determined that the pedestrian was the one who caused the collision.

When a pedestrian collides with a vehicle, it is usually determined that the driver of the vehicle was at least partially responsible for the collision. This is because motorists have a responsibility to keep an eye out for pedestrians and to make way for them whenever necessary.
